This can be really useful for climbers and also other athletes, or grip strength competitors.

Repetitive stresses put on flexor tendons when we squeeze hard can cause climber’s elbow, or tennis elbow.

Climbing and Gripsport can sometimes cause the flexor tendons to overdevelop. Our bands can correct this overdevelopment or imbalance by strengthening extensors. These bands will also be a vital part of your training program if you want to get strong.

There are many gimmicks on the market claiming to help but are a waste of time and money as they don’t engage the tendon enough.

‘Tend-On’ Extensor bands work by exercising the forearm extensor tendon, which will stabilise the fingers whilst climbing or grip lifting.

Club Strong ‘Tend-On’ extensor bands have been developed to maximise resistance through the full range of forearm extensor motion.

So how do you use a ‘Tend-On’ extensor band?

Simply put your thumb and all your fingers inside the ‘Tend-On’ extensor band and force it open for 30, 40, or 50 reps and repeat 4 times. The forearm burn is good for recovery and building strength.
